About the Event

Newark Book Festival is a literature Festival that takes place in July in a range of beautiful historic venues across Newark on Trent in Nottinghamshire. The 2021 Festival took place from 8 – 11 July in venues and outdoor locations across Newark, with also a selection of events online. See photos from 2021 Festival on Facebook. As well as author talks and book-signings the ever-popular Literature Village returned to the Market Place, along with Welcome To Wonderland family day at Newark Castle featuring storytelling and creative activities. The 2022 Newark Book Festival is due to take place 7 – 10 July 2022.
